What is Therapeutic Family Work?

During Therapeutic Family Work, the Therapeutic Family Worker visits a family and encourages them to look at their core issues and communicate effectively, ensuring everyone is given a chance to speak.

How does it work?

Because everyone is given a chance to speak, without being blamed, the family dynamics and harmony within the home improve which has a positive effect on all family members.

Group Work

Time For Me is a monthly group in Midlothian where parents get together to relax, have fun and learn new skills while their preschool children are in a creche.  The group is built around art, craft and recreational activities.  Due to the popularity of the group, there are longer sessions during the school holidays with playgroups for children up to twelve.
