How are Home Link volunteers screened?

Anyone wishing to volunteer as a Befriender with Home Link must provide 2 references and undergo an Enhanced Disclosure (Police) check. They must also successfully complete our induction training course and post training review. Anyone who applies to volunteer as a Befriender with Home Link will be contacted by the Volunteering Officer to discuss the screening process before being invited along to induction training.
