How are volunteer befrienders screened?
Anyone wishing to volunteer as a befriender with Home Link must provide 2 references and undergo an Enhanced
Disclosure (Police) check. They must also successfully complete our induction training course and post training review. Anyone
who applies to volunteer as a befriender with Home Link will be contacted by the volunteer recruitment officer to discuss
the screening process before being invited along to induction training.
